FC Barcelona and its leaders saw that manager Luis Enrique still has that magical touch to his coaching style at the club level after his stint as coach of the Spanish national team.

Enrique and Paris Saint-Germain overcame a 4-2 aggregate result to defeat Barcelona 6-4 to advance to the UEFA Champions League semifinals. As a result, the Catalan side might be eyeing a reunion with the 53-year-old despite having their manager, Xavi Hernandez, staying for next season.

SPORT reports that Barcelona are closely following Enrique’s future, with a sense of intrigue and anticipation. They are optimistic that he may not extend his contract with PSG, potentially opening the door for a reunion in 2025.

The Spanish tactician can put PSG in the Champions League final if they can overcome the 1-0 deficit against Borussia Dortmund on Tuesday night at the Parc des Princes.

Should Enrique coach another Champions League final, Barcelona will probably hope that PSG’s manager leaves after two seasons in the French capital. This file will be interesting to follow to see how this all plays out.
