Dallas Cowboys rookie defensive lineman and quarterback destroyer Viliami Fehoko was drafted in the fourth round out of San Jose State

With training camp on the horizon, Fehoko is seen as a developmental player right now, but could he be a big rookie sleeper? CBS Sports thinks so and has listed the 6-4 263-pounder as one rookie who could make an immediate impact next season.

"Fehoko has looked ready for the NFL for years," CBS Sports writes. "Heck, as a sophomore in 2020, he had six sacks and 12.5 tackles for loss. ... As a rotational defensive end in Dallas, Fehoko is going to make noise as a rookie."

In his last college season for San Jose State, Fehoko totaled a career-best 19 tackles for loss, 69 tackles, nine sacks, and two forced fumbles in just 12 games. That does not automatically translate to NFL success; in each college season, Fehoko has gotten better, but doing it at the NFL level is the next step in his development.

With the likes of DeMarcus Lawrence, Micah Parsons, Dorance Armstrong, and Dante Fowler to learn from, Fehoko, like Sam Williams, could become a key member of this highly talented pass-rushing unit. ... That's a lot of bodies for "Junior'' Fehoko to navigate through ... but if this "sleeper'' wakes up, Dallas' D-line depth doesn't bode well for the rest of the league.
